Despite significant medical advances, communities of color in this country continue to experience higher rates of disease, disability, and premature death. The Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health (OMH) launched the National Partnership for Action (NPA) to help eliminate health disparities. I wrote and edited the following foundational materials for this important HHS-wide public health initiative:
