Soul Water Rising

Dr. Jaiya John, an internationally recognized author and speaker, is the founder of Soul Water Rising,  which he describes as “a global humanitarian mission dedicated to social healing.” After working together on a Howard University project, Dr. John engaged me as the senior editor for Soul Water Rising, an opportunity that has continued over the years. I edit his nonfiction books for human service professionals, as well as novels and books of poetry for adult and young adult audiences. Other editorial services include consultation with the author about overall book design and organization, copywriting, copyediting, author queries, and proofreading.
